Festival season is on: Navratras, Vijayadashmi and now Sharad Poonam; and the series of festivals would go on in continuation. But ask the disciples as to how they feel when they open their hearts on how much they miss their revered Guru – the adorable Saint Shri Asharamji Bapu (referred to as ‘Bapuji‘) on all these occasions. A couple of years back, these days were supposed to be joyous for the disciples, but now-a-days, all the festive days are spent with the only hope of their Guruji’s honorable acquittal so that they could be in His holy company during such auspicious occasions at least.
We burn the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarana and Meghanada during Dussehra, but we could see that Ravanas exist in the society till date. An innocent minor is raped by the bullies and the news is wrapped within a few days, followed by many such incidents. But the concocted tale against Bapuji is very much exaggerated by the “paid” media.
Have we ever thought as to why the cases of rape are increasing day by day? May be, because the security guard of the nation – our “constitution” and other laws seem to have fallen asleep like Kumbhakarana, and are thus misused by the affluent people as per their needs.
There is no Laxmana present in the society who could combat with the uproars of the crimes created by the conspirators’ equivalent of Meghanada. Thus the actual Vijayadashami or Dussehra has not occurred so far. It is indicative of nothing that is relevant to the today’s realism of the material world and hence, does not serve the purpose.
Let us go ahead and see as to how the celebration of Sharad Poonam has become insipid for the disciples, as they do not have the answer of how long their innocent Guruji be kept imprisoned. Why these bars do not cut automatically? Why a miracle does not occur? Why judicial system takes so long to decide the case? Why there is no time frame to settle the case within a time frame?
Many full moon days have gone by. But has there been any impact on our judicial, political or administrative system? Have the issues that were raised in this context impacted anyone? Who is there to tackle such issues – neither government nor judicial system ?
Disciples come, sit in the environment, where their Guruji is staying. Disgusting but true, He does not deserve to be kept at such a place without much facilities while ailing from trigeminal neuralgia. To some extent, He is sick and the dearth of the extent of His disease is being complemented by unhealthy environment of the prison where He is incarcerated and has very less facilities.
Why is our media, who presented stories against Bapuji, quiet on the stories happening in our day to day life? Acid attacks, molestation, kidnapping, rape – the list of offences goes endless; probably our legal system has less number of interpretation of the crimes than the list of the offences taking place in our society. They’ve been increasing day by day. But unfortunately, our eminent jurisprudents are silent on these issues and do not take those seriously; and the news of such incidents is so acceptable in our system that it can be sipped in a draught and later forgotten.
A saint, whose discourse sessions would drag the attention of thousands of people, now moves in a police van (with so much of humiliation), resorting to others shoulders’ to climb the van and get down. It is not His disrespect, rather ours. He is a saint who has given a lot to the society through His preaching that also include the stories of Self realized women saints like Rabia, Gargi, Madaalsa, Maitreyi etc. and through His activities of public welfare, like Ayurvedic medical stores, encouraging people to lead a healthy and natural life, instilling moral values, stopping infanticide, foeticide etc. What else is expected from a saint other than philanthropic activities?
Rape is not substantiated by in any manner – this is what Supreme Court Advocate Mr. Ishkaran Singh Bhandari, Mr. K.K. Manan and Mr. Ram Jethmalani have been quoting time and again. What else is required? What is left with this case? Nothing! But, it’s still going on. Is there anyone who could make judiciary realize about such a big controversy, wherein without any evidence, the proceedings are going on without reason, when it is even clarified that Bapuji was not present on that day at the said spot and even the girl (the “alleged” victim) was elsewhere. The whole story was cooked up by the conspirators and still the proceedings are going on… does it make any sense? It all looks like a mockery of the sentiments of the disciples! Mockery of our judicial system! Mockery of our awareness towards the truth! Mockery of Hinduism! Mockery of our saints! Certain laws must be introduced to stop such mockery.
Had the judiciary worked on the issues seriously without undue influence of the conspirators and the missionaries (spending millions of fund on conversions); our beloved Gurudev would have been amongst us, enjoying the boat riding event in Dwarka, singing the glory of the Lord. We want those days back! We want our revered saint amongst us, who is so innocent! We want that all the fake cases be heard seriously without delay and concluded shortly! We want our saint Bapuji amongst us without delay without procrastinations set by the hurdles of procedures in the name of justice thus preclude the game set by selfish politicians.
