O Media & Judiciary – Realize the value of true saints lest the citizens remain deprived !
A disciple, on someone’s arrival at his place, smelt the fragrance of appearance of his Guru. He came near the person and asked -“Have you met the Peer or Aulia?” and the latter replied, “Yes, I have met him and he gave me a pair of his shoes, as I was unable to get my daughter married due to lack of wealth. And probably I get some coins after selling it in the market, though those coins may not suffice the need for finance required for the marriage, but anyways.”
The disciple who asked this question was carrying all his wealth on 19 camels and said it would be very kind of you if you give my Peer’s shoes in exchange of all this wealth, (probably keeping only one camel with him) and the disciple got his Peer’s shoes at the expense of what he earned throughout his life; as one can get wealth in the refuge of a true Guru (Sadguru), but once the latter’s grace is lost, a person cannot acquire anything back – as in the case of Nizamuddin Aulia and disciple.
I’m not pushing anybody to spend one’s all wealth in the manner stated above, but isn’t this the high time we realized the cost or value of saints in India? The question is – how long do you want to wait and hold?
One day, Samarth Ramdas and his disciple – Chatrapati Shivaji had to cross a flooded river and the boatman out there could escape only one person. Shivaji told the boatman to escape only his Guru – Samarth Ramdas, as to him, his Guru’s life was more important because He (The Guru) could make thousands of Shivas, but one Shiva could not make another Guru Ramdas.
Whereas, in this era, a saint who is true, pious and venerable; is incarcerated and media is cooking up stories to defame him more and more, so much so, that even Judiciary has become biased after getting cooked-up stories from media.
Yeah, I am talking about Sant Shri Asharam ji Bapu (hereinafter Bapuji). Why is he called “Bapuji” after all? He maintains discipline amongst his disciples as a father. When in ashram, he had never taken food before confirming that all his devoted disciples were fed properly. A girl disciple considers him as father, a boy disciple considers him as father, a mother considers him as father, a father considers him as “father”, a daughter considers him as a father, a daughter-in-law considers him as father; and the list goes endless…. Thus, in all ways he is respected as a father, therefore called “Bapuji”. How can such a saint commit an offence of rape with a girl who is as young as his granddaughter would have been?
How can a person, allegedly termed as a “rapist”, be worshipped thrice or more times a day with incenses or other holy things without fail? I doubt whether anybody would have ever worshipped his/her own father, that too every single day. But here millions of his (Bapuji’s) devotees worship him, not once a month or a fortnight or a week, but at-least thrice a day and his devoted disciples worship him (at least mentally) all the time! How can such a Baba befool huge masses and for how long? Is it possible? No. Some day or the other, the truth comes out and one’s dignity or respect is lost, if fake. But in case of Bapuji, despite him not being a criminal, the crooked media portrayed him as a villain so as to spin money and thus has been losing its credibility amongst people in fulfilling its duty by giving proper information to public.
A saint who had a motive to make India rise as “World Spiritual leader”, is falsely accused of charges of rape and despite having been provided with enough of evidences that prove the charge as totally fake & futile, media and judiciary seem to ignore and overlook as to what he has given to the nation by running various schemes like ‘Bhajan Karo, Bhojan Pao’, cow-protection, children welfare, youth & women up-liftment, crisis management during flood, earth quake etc by making ad-hoc committees, and many more…
How can judiciary support those, who, with constant efforts, have made every possible attempt to tarnish the image of such an adorable saint – desirous to maintain the integrity of the nation, and instead favor those who are against him (owing to their motive to de-strengthen India with hidden support system by foreign agencies and nurtured by politicians) by not giving him justice even after 15 months’ long period? It’s just been procrastinating and thus delaying, by giving adjournments seeking his medical reports and not providing him health care that he deserves; and instead, is forcing him to resort to alternative branch of medicine- Allopath, for which he has always given references, quoting the relevant medicines of the branch to be with side effects.
Isn’t this another way of humiliating him for which judiciary is also reinforcing the conspirators indirectly stating it as “procedural formalities”? Undoubtedly, the courts have examples to kill justice by delaying in number of cases and this case is no exception. It is being repeated in this case as well.
The agony of this nation and especially Hindus is that – they are unable to recognize their true well-wishers – the Self-realized Saints and directly or indirectly, by not taking appropriate action (in Bapuji’s case), are making him sleep on the floors with simple fan in scorching heat and leaving him in dilemma by seeking various medical reports. Can they ever opt the same way of providing justice to their near & dear ones? If not, how can they do such things with a saint who sees in all – that “Omnipresent”?
The government can’t make people virtuous and healthy even after spending money on various issues that a saint can resolve by giving small health & spiritual tips to be adapted in day to day life, thereby saving his disciples’ money on major operations in hospitals and keeping them updated with modern era by going for scientific as well as spiritual approach.
Where had these Human Rights Associations gone when such a venerable saint like Bapuji was arrested in the midnight in pitiable health conditions, without being allowed to even carry his aasan (holy mat) with him, was kept awake overnight when arrested and was kept waiting for the flight to Delhi when there were other shorter routes available? Moreover, he was not given proper food as per to his ‘Chaturmaas Niyam’ which is against The Constitution – which confers rights upon every citizen to perform its religious rites (especially a spiritual leader). The case (of alleged “rape victim”, who falsely accused him) is still pending without reason when all evidences are present in support of Bapuji. He was sent to such a cell where there was no protection from mosquitoes and he spent his time in the prison facing adverse conditions in lack of proper facilities that even a regular prisoner ought to have. He used wet blankets to control heated waves in summer while sleeping on floors, standing mosquitoes’ bites all the night. He was transferred from one place to another in series of hearings (fake cases) from one state to another in a van, sleeping on the hard, hot floor of the van amongst shoes of the police personnel. Don’t all these circumstances confirm a well framed conspiracy against a pious, innocent spiritual leader? Can the pillars of democracy behave this way with Ministers – those master minds in fodder scam or the corruption scams or cine stars for that matter?
With such an indecent and unjust treatment of such a pious saint, it doesn’t even make sense to celebrate Human Rights Day on December 10, which is supposed to ensure the protection of human-rights but has failed to protect a spiritual leader’s dignity and human rights throughout these 15-16 months. If such bodies cannot understand the agony of a saint in his bad health conditions, still facing adjournments on the moot issue of whether he should be taken by plane or cab for his medical treatment, then it’s undoubtedly a defeat of Human Rights Associations. A spiritual leader, who gave this world a number of virtuous human beings by initiating those and who has always been involved in improvising the plight of youth and women by invoking celebration of ‘Parents’ Worship Day’ instead of ‘Valentine’s Day’; is facing so many hurdles for his proper treatment, which is in-turn, certainly a defeat of humanity too. Another question of his recovery is doubted when he, at the initial stages of case, underwent various medical check-ups and denied such treatments with apprehensions of being injected something harmful for his health in suspicion of their being paid up (medical practitioners) by conspirators is what is annoying his disciples for his this kind of treatment. And the silence of human rights association also makes it clear that the conspiracy is very well hatched by conspirators.
It is high time we did something really serious and concrete to fail the efforts of conspirators to tarnish the image of true saints like Bapuji. We have to make every possible effort so that Bapuji is able to avail justice and proper health care till the time he is imprisoned. At the end, I would request the judiciary to take some concrete steps towards the release of Bapuji so that the citizens’ of India can maintain trust on the judicial set-up.
