“Vegetarian food is healthier than non-vegetarian food” is the fact and an argument supported by many dieticians of American Dietetic Association, AIIMS, Safadarjung Hospital and the likes.
According to Kidman,
plants and herbs contain optimum energy level. If it is directly consumed by human beings, they will get direct 10% energy but if an animal consumes herbs, thereafter the energy level is successively reduced by 10%, if consumed by human beings.
According to the research conducted by Mount Geon University of California, non-vegetarian food is hardly digestible. It requires body to secrete a particular acid ‘Baze’ and if liver does not produce it abundantly; it absorbs the acid from bones, which are chiefly made of baze and calcium.
Constant consumption of non-vegetarian diet reduces the size and quality of bones, thus resulting in untimed fragility of bones. Therefore, a non-vegetarian is more prone to fractures. Dr. Benz substantiated with experiments that non-vegetarian diet augments anger, impulse, inhumanity and criminal tendencies that accrue at the time of killing an animal and the feelings of fear, anxiety and frustration shift from such martyred animals to humans, who consume the flesh of those animals. Experts of State University of New York revealed the fact that more than 47,000 off-springs of non-vegetarians suffer from congenital fatal diseases.
The shape of human body is not in accordance to digest non-vegetarian diet. On the other hand, carnivores have different type of much enlarged intestine; liver, kidney, teeth and nails of particular kind, acidic saliva etc. to digest animals’ flesh; something that human beings lack. Additionally, to secrete bile, carnivores have much enlarged pancreas, that human beings do not possess. A non-vegetarian’s kidneys have to overwork by secreting extra acid and thus become morbid consequently. Some European doctors also reinforced the fact that non-vegetarian diet is an unnatural one and hence is harmful too.
Louis Koo, a renowned inventor of “water therapy” has proclaimed that man is not carnivorous by nature and hence consuming flesh is a disregard to nature and invites various ailments.
Vegetarian diet contains more calcium and vitamins than non-vegetarian diet and is fibrous too. Hence it’s easily digestible and its waste is easily excreted. On the other hand, consumption of non-vegetarian food increases the amount of nitrogen in the body, which in turn creates uric acid and other harmful chemicals in excess; which in turn disturbs the excretory system and thus the stored energy is used in excreting waste products in spite of it giving more energy to the body. Non-vegetarian diet is considered to be more proteinase but the fact is – these excess proteins are harmful for the body and are not easily convertible into amino acids; but into Histidine, Tyrosine, Missin etc. which are harmful for the body.
Vegetables can be cleaned and washed prior cooking but animals that are infected and wounded are cooked as such. Even though animals undergo veterinary checks but vaccines and serum contain toxins which are harmful.
As per various surveys conducted by Discovery Channel,
Non-vegetarian food contains excess cholesterol which weakens our immune system and increases the chances of colon cancer, breast cancer and prostate cancer. Australians are more prone to bowel cancer as beef is primarily consumed in their diet. On the other hand, vegetarian meal reduces the chances of cancer by 40%.
In America, around 110,000 people become victim of cancer every year, out of which around 50,000 die. Angina pectoris, Arteriosclerosis, Coronary Thrombosis etc are other names of diseases in this series.
A study was conducted on criminals in prisons and 75% of those were found non-vegetarian, thus adding evidence to the fact that non-vegetarian diet augments anger, restlessness, and frustration leading one towards committing an offence.
Annie Besant once asked: “How we can be happy when we live in an environment filled with screams, fear, pain and sorrows of animals?” ‘Jhatka’ and ‘Halal’ both are available after killing the animals mercilessly, though some people may argue that by scientifically processed meat supply program, animals are killed and they do not know how and when they die. Our revered Gandhiji has said: ‘’Humanity and cruelty do not go along’.
Some may argue that according to famous scientist Mr. Jagadish Chandra Bose,
plants also feel pain and scream when someone plucks any part of it. Is it commendable to consume fruits and vegetables? Plants are stagnant, though alive and the level of consciousness is assessed by the elements present in any entity. Animals are 4 elements creatures; therefore their level of consciousness in animals is much more than that of plants which are classified to possess 3 elements. Hence consuming vegetable and fruits in not a sin but consuming animals’ flesh is definitely a sin.
There’s a lot of difference between the body parts & structure of carnivores vs. the same of herbivores/vegetarian.
For instance, lions have pointed and enlarged teeth to tear flesh, whereas cows or human beings have flat teeth, and hence adapted to digest vegetables and fruits. Though man consumes flesh by cooking it prior to consuming; which is not a requirement in case of carnivores; yet within the body of carnivores, sufficient Hydrochloric Acid is secreted to digest flesh, whereas that percentage is merely 10% in humans, which is insufficient to digest non-vegetarian diet. Vegetarians have alkaline saliva that digests carbohydrates easily, whereas carnivores have acidic saliva so that they may digest flesh.
Carnivores have small intestine and hence indigestible unnecessary part of flesh is excreted by them within no time, whereas human intestine is enlarged one, which is useful in digestion for fruits, vegetables etc. On consumption of non-vegetarian diet, poisonous elements of such food are assimilated in the body, which is very harmful.
Additionally, the liver and kidneys of humans are developed in such a way that consumption of non-vegetarian diet creates extra load on these organs and hence causes number of ailments, which are hardly curable.
As per FCI reports, India has sufficient and abundant food-grains, but maintenance and distribution is not proper and the same compelling one to take non-vegetarian diet is mere a lame excuse. Further contention that non-vegetarian eaters maintain ecological balance by eating unnecessary animals is incorrect and definitely a myth. This instead creates ecological imbalance and thus causes adverse effect on green-house gases/food-chain and ecology.
Non-vegetarian diet is not natural, but cultivated mode of diet. How can one intake an animal/creature in one’s plate of meal when he hates to see an animal injured or died at the road-side stinking at the corner of road?
George Bernard Shaw calls such non-vegetarians as “moving grave-yard”, where a number of dead bodies are buried. From a monetary perspective, non-vegetarian diet is 10 times more expensive and less useful than vegetarian one.
According to Manusmriti(5/53):- He who during a hundred years, annually performs Ashwamedha Yagya, and he who entirely abstains from meat, obtains the same reward for their meritorious (conduct).
Atharva Veda(8/6/23): One who eats cooked or uncooked flesh, destroys womb and deity destroys such people.
Jain opinion:- Non-violence is the paramount of religion.
Buddhist opinion:- In the long process of birth & death cycle, many creatures would happen to be your relatives in any birth or in any form, hence it is suggested to love all animals just like one’s own kids. A prudent one must not eat flesh or non-vegetarian food even at the time of crisis. Food that does not contain particles of flesh and blood is well appreciated.
Sikh opinion (Gurbani):- When Khuda/Lord indwells in all, how can you kill hen? Even after killing animals, if you consider yourself as a religious one, then who should be called “non-religious”? If you think yourself to be a decent one even after such killing; then who should be called a “butcher”?
Prophet Mohammad: Fear Allah for the sake of speechless animals! One has to answer before Khuda for killing of a bird and one who saves a bird and does not kill it showing pity for it, will be well-treated by Khuda at the doom’s day. If one wants to reside in heaven forever, then he must treat others with compassion.
One, who kills someone, kills oneself and one who eats animal flesh, is eating his own flesh/dead body. Killing of animals is killing of one’s own life and the revenge for this offence is not less than one’s death. Neither kill speechless animals nor eat their flesh, lest you become slave of devil. If you consume vegetarian diet, you will get vitality and energy.
Jesus Christ:- If you eat non-vegetarian diet, such died food will kill you since life gives life and death gives death.
Chanakya:- Non-vegetarian diet is prohibited for all human beings.
Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati (Satyarth Prakash – The Light of Truth):- Non-vegetarian food makes one violent. Those who consume non-vegetarian diet and liquor, their bodies and semen also get contaminated.
Swami Vivekananda:- Consumption of non-vegetarian food is barbaric, while consumption of vegetarian food is pious.
(Mahabharata, Anu.115/40, 49): One, who buys flesh, does violence with money; One who eats, does violence by consumption thereof; One who ties animals for the purpose, does violence by tying it; In this way, this is killing thrice.
Person who brings flesh, or cause to bring; One who mutilates, buys, sells, cooks or eats (flesh); they all are considered non-vegetarians.
Mahabharata (5/55):- Whose flesh I eat here, will eat my flesh in heavens.

George Barnard Shaw refused to take non-vegetarian food at the time of his death stage and said: “After my death all I wish is, these speechless go along with my dead body for me not killing them for sake of my health recovery.”
Gandhiji did not compromise to take non-vegetarian food for his child suffering from an ailment which appeared to be incurable, but he later recovered after few days.
Rajendra Babu (Dr. Rajendra Prasad – first President of India) missed one of his file at congress meeting. So he started talking about its matter to his sub-ordinate, and when the original copy was found; the language used by Rajendra Babu was exactly the same as was mentioned in the original file. In reply to Mr. Nehru, he gave all credit of his good memory to milk and vegetarian diet and not eggs.
Egg is poison:-
Is egg a vegetarian diet? Egg is pure non-vegetarian diet, which is harmful and poisonous and efforts to prove it as vegetarian diet is a big conspiracy of commercialization. Scientists of Michigan Society have proved that whether an egg is hatched or not, it cannot be considered as non-living being. Egg that is not hatched is also a living being has been proved by Scientist marking it on polygraph. Egg is thus not vegetarian. The doctors who recommend that eggs are rich in protein, minerals, vitamins and necessary amino acids and easily digestible by the sick, mislead public and hence indirectly conspire against destruction of culture and health.
On the contrary, Dr. John and Mac Douglas (then director of ‘lifestyle and nutrition program’ of St. Helena hospital of California), has revealed the facts that vegetarian food contains sufficient proteins necessary for health. Dr. F.Ster of Harvard University (1972) expounded that vegetarians get twice amount of proteins from their diet in daily routine in comparison to others, for example, Vitamin C is abundant in orange. One orange contains more Vitamin C than what could be obtained from 200 eggs. Protein and calcium are abundant in gram, peas, moong in comparison to eggs.
Mrs. Edwina Currie (British health minister from 1986 to 1988) has warned that eggs may cause death as it contains Salmonella poison which is harmful for health. American Nobel laureates Dr. Brown and Dr. Goldstein have warned that eggs may cause heart diseases for cholesterol level is very high in eggs. Eggs may cause cancer and it does not contain any fibre, but DDT poison; as concluded by PC Sen Health ministry of Indian govt.
According to Dr. Robert Grass, eggetarian may suffer from or could get more prone to T.B. and dysentery. Also, eggs are likely to cause ulcers, as per what Dr. J. M. Winkins opines. Steel Besterol medicine is injected in hens to increase its productivity, and likely to cause breast cancer, high B.P., jaundice in females and destroys fertility in men to some extent. Scientist Grass concluded that eggs may cause itching, skin diseases and leprosy etc. California’s Catherine Nimmo has described in its book ‘How healthier eggs are’, side effects of eggs.
In 1971, ‘Jama’ magazine published that vegetarian diet can control 60-67% heart diseases since eggs and other non-vegetarian diet contains more cholesterol, for formation of body cells and nerve cells protein is required. Its daily need is 1gm/kg weight, i.e. a person with 60 kg weight needs 60 gm protein.
100gm eggs provide 13.3 gm proteins while 100 gm Soya bean provides 43.2 gm proteins, 100 gm Groundnut provides 31.5gm proteins, 100 gm Moong provides 24 gm proteins and 100 gm Urad provides 25.1 gm proteins.
Bapuji’s preaching on vegetarianism:- This is our revered saint Asharam Bapuji, who used to ask people to give away their vices as His Guru Dakshina after every discourse session / mantra diksha session and thus made His disciples resolve to refrain from non-vegetarian diet, liquor and other nasty things.
A wide range of people became aware of the harms of non-vegetarian food and eggs and got health benefits adapting the life-style taught by Him.
Such an innocent saint who transformed many lives at a time is conspired and incarcerated. We wish and hope that the coming generations would reap the benefits of the teachings of our revered self-realized saint Bapuji and hence, we indeed are in the dire need of His comeback.
