Divya Prerna Prakash – a book motivating millions across – yet media seems to be blind!!!
An innocent saint – Sant Shri Asharamji Bapu (referred to as ‘Bapuji’) has been kept in prison on account of a baseless case of rape. The saint who could spellbind thousands of people during His discourses is portrayed as a ‘culprit’, and that too when the case has not been decided so far. Is there any law and order? How come His philanthropic deeds got forgotten all of a sudden? Why is He considered as a ‘culprit’ when any competent court of the country has not declared any such thing? When all the accused found guilty in their respective rape cases got bail and acquitted, namely:-
- Tarun Tejpal (Chief of Tehelka magazine);
- Karthik Gowda (son of Sadananda Gowda, then Union Minister of Railways);
- Dhananjay Singh (former MP, Bahujan Samaj Party);
- R.K. Pachauri, (TERI environmentalist);
- Ankit Tiwari (Bollywood Singer);
- three accused of Badaun gang rape;
- Somnath Bharti (Ex- Minister of Law, Tourism, Administrative Reforms, Art & Culture and current MLA in the Government of Delhi) in Domestic violence matters;
- And many others who are a part of this long list
Why Bapuji has been imprisoned till date, at the age of 75, in a case that is not supported by any evidence? He was not even allowed to perform final cremation rites at the death of His nephew. His son – Narayan Sai was granted 21-day interim bail by the Gujarat High Court to attend to his ailing mother; but the same was discarded with malafide intent within 3 days and he was sent back to the prison by the court. All these things are taking place in a country that boasts about its respect for the true saints. Is there actually any time frame to decide the cases for the saints or all the exemptions are applicable only to the politicians, central office bearers and Bollywood personalities?
Bapuji, who has always worked for the ethical and moral up-liftment of the society in general and children, women and the youth in particular, is rumored as a rapist. Even Lord Krishna’s parents were put behind the bars and His incarnation took place in the prison. Was the family considered as a culprit? Everyone adores Lord Krishna and Bhagavad Gita is revered even by foreign philosophers and is taught to the students too. The biographies of our freedom fighters who were put behind the bars (to name a few – Bhagat Singh, Veer Savarkar, Subhash Chandra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi) inspire our countrymen till date. Some of freedom fighters were gleaming on the gallows. It is at your discretion to decide whether they fall in the category of culprits or adorable ones. Going by the way the Indian ‘paid’ media treats and addresses Hindu saints like: Bapuji, Sadhvi Pragya, Swami Nithyananda these days, it would have addressed those freedom fighters (who devoted their precious youth and life for the nation) as culprits too.
The fact that this ‘paid’ media is making so much of fuss about the book “Divya Prerna Prakash” published by Sant Shri Asharamji ashram running under the aegis of Bapuji when one of His books named “Jeevan Vikas” has already been the part of syllabus curriculum of around 80 schools, seems quite nonsensical. The claim made by the media about the book comprising obscene contents is also ridiculous and is certainly a thought arisen from intellectually blind people who are unable to see the obscenity being spread through newspapers, magazines and TV channels. A saint who is nurturing our youth and the children, is objected and those who are spreading porn without hesitation are not even questioned? It is quite sad to see how we, as a society, are progressing and it appears that we are heading to a complete disaster in times to come.
Recently, a renowned Ayurveda professional – Vaidyaratnam Dr. R. Raghavan, who examined Bapuji, declared that He should be granted bail immediately as his health condition is deteriorating in the prison; where the innocent saint of 75 is suffering from pain, yet keeping a smile on His face – consoling His disciples and assuring them that He is fit and fine, but is actually bearing with all the negative conditions for His health. No proof against Him has been found as yet, and still He is kept in the jail! Osho was in a foreign country when he was left helpless in jail premises by the powers that be, who trapped him unreasonably and gave him inadequate medical facility, so as to ruin the roar of Vedanta. Osho returned with hunchback after being released.
Hence, O countrymen! Please do not let the same history repeat with such a true saint like Bapuji and that too in our own country (Refer link)
The judiciary and legislature of the great country like India – that boasts of the glory of saints, has kept such a realized saint like Bapuji in jail (without any conviction or judgment) whose Self Realization Day Anniversary is fast approaching. Whether He deserves to be kept in jail in such a humiliating manner and whether or not it is appropriate to blemish his books (conveying the message of celibacy and preservation of youth vital fluid) in such a way, when those are actually meant to reform the society to get rid of the evils – is something for us to ponder over.
